Liberty Lake Police kept busy the week of June 16-22, making 13 arrests and giving out a cluster of traffic citations. Several arrests were made for driving with a suspended license, plus an arrest for driving under the influence.

Matthew M. May, 26, of Sheboygan, Wis., was arrested on a felony warrant on June 18. Two Spokane Valley men, Donald R. Koellen, 40, and Michael L. Onda, 37, were arrested on felony charges of property theft and conspiracy. The two were arrested together on June 20 in the 24500 block of East Valleyway Avenue.

Two citations were given for license and plates required, eight for driving with a suspended license, five for failure to show liability insurance, two for illegal use of studded tires, two for failure to stop at a stop sign, eight for speeding and three for failure to wear a safety belt. Citations were also given for driving without a license, an ignition interlock violation, failure to obey a traffic control device, failure to yield on a left turn, second degree negligent driving and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers conducted a commercial vehicle inspection and responded to two traffic accidents. They also responded to calls for forgery, identity theft, malicious mischief and a vehicle theft.
