This phase of the program incorporates distance learning with a NASA-designed curriculum which discusses the history of space exploration, the space shuttle, the International Space Station, the moon and Mars.

The students will compete in 10 lessons and will select a topic of interest for their final project.

The three will compete among 225 students for 160 spots in four summer residency sessions.

Wizard rock
