Best team will be host
The ArenaCup, the championship game of arenafootball2, will be held at the venue of the participating team with the best overall record in 2008, the af2 league office announced Monday.
“Our fans are some of the very best in the world, so when they told us about their wishes to bring ArenaCup back to the site of the highest- seeded participating team, we listened,” af2 president Jerry Kurz said.

Brian Sutter is stepping down as head coach of the Red Deer Rebels.
The Western Hockey League team announced the resignation Monday, with former player and associate coach Jesse Wallin to take over on the bench.

Brian Sutter took over as head coach before the start of the season.
The Rebels missed the playoffs after finishing last in the Eastern Conference with a record of 18-47-4-3, good for just 43 points.
