HAYDEN – The grand opening of the Hayden Branch of the Kootenai-Shoshone Area Libraries will be held today , from 2 to 5 p.m. The branch at 8385 N. Government Way in Hayden.

The event includes a tour of the new library and refreshments. Face painting, crafts, cupcake decorating, and an expanded book collection is available for the children.
