In brief: Frank Bittick honored

Frank Bittick, of Coeur d’Alene was honored recently, with a number of other recipients, by the 2008 MetLife Foundation Older Volunteers Enrich America Awards, in Washington, D.C.

Bittick was recognized for his work helping at-risk kids through tutoring.

Get Lost in music of the ‘50s

The Panida Theatre, 300 N. First Ave., will host its annual Lost in the ‘50s concert Thursday.

Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Richie Valens impersonators will perform starting at 7:30 p.m. Cost for the event is $28.
