Parents’ names wrong

John and June Goldman of Spokane are the parents of Jaqueline Goldman, who recently received a Presidential Scholarship from Eastern Washington University. The parents’ names were wrong in a May 3 Achievements column due to incorrect information provided by a source.

Pay rate incorrect

The $1,000 spent by a lance corporal on shore leave, mentioned in a story published in a Sunday special section, represents about a half a paycheck. The story said otherwise.
