In brief: Strong Road plan subject of meeting
Owners of a 7.8-acre property at 1711 W. Strong Road want to develop 35 residential lots, and they have scheduled a community meeting to talk about the project on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Indian Trail Library, 4909 W. Barnes Road.
Sconiers Developments LLC owns the property. Corporation owners include Tim and Kathy Riddle, 1701 W. Strong Ave.
N. Indian Trail plan topic of talk
A community meeting to discuss a proposal to develop 283 residential lots on 53.2 acres along North Indian Trail Road is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8441 N. Indian Trail Road.
Property owners Harlan and Maxine Douglass are seeking a preliminary long plat for a development that would be called Hunt Pointe. The city’s development regulations require a community meeting in the early stages of an application. A public hearing on the preliminary plat before the hearing examiner cannot be scheduled until a meeting is held in the community.
The property is currently zoned for single and two-family residences.
