Shred day event

MEDICAL LAKE – Washington State Employees Credit Union’s Medical Lake branch, 205 E. State Route 902, will host a shred day to raise awareness about identity theft.

The event will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and the credit union will also accept non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank.

Visitors can bring up to three file-sized boxes, about 150 pounds, of old financial documents to shred.
