“10 a.m.: Blue Star Salute Bazaar and Craft Fair, Athol American Legion Post 149.

“11:30 a.m.: flag raising and potluck picnic at the Falls Park in Post Falls, Sons of Norway Lodge No. 11, Dist. 2.

“6 p.m.: Free dinner for World War II and Korean War Veterans, served at Athol American Legion Post 149, call for reservations, 683-2614.

May 26

“9 a.m.: CdA VFW Post 889 hosts ceremonies and wreath laying begins by the bell at Third Street Parking lot.

Athol American Legion Post 149 will raise colors at Bayview Community Center.

“10 a.m.: Ceremony at St. Thomas Cemetery on Sherman Avenue.

“11 a.m.: CdA VFW 889 presents ceremonies at Forest Cemetery on Government Way.

Spirit Lake VFW Post 1473 presents ceremonies at Blanchard Cemetery.

“Noon: Coeur d’Alene American Legion Post 14 presents the colors at Fairwinds Retirement Community.

Athol American Legion presents ceremonies at Athol Cemetery.

Spirit Lake VFW presents ceremonies at Greenwood Cemetery in Spirit Lake.

“1 p.m.: Athol American Legion presents flag retirement at the post in Athol.

“2 p.m.: Ceremonies at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, with guest speaker, Senate candidate Jim Connell.
