Dean appointed for EWU Spokane

Eastern Washington University President Rodolfo Arévalo has appointed Rex Fuller as the executive dean of EWU Spokane on the Riverpoint Campus. Fuller, who already serves as dean of Eastern’s College of Business and Public Administration at Riverpoint, will continue in that role while assuming his new duties as executive dean.

Fuller came to Eastern in the fall of 2006 after six years as dean of the business school at Colorado State University-Pueblo. Overall, he has more than 17 years experience as a dean. At Riverpoint, he will be responsible for the administrative leadership and day-to-day operations of EWU Spokane.

In addition to the College of Business and Public Administration, EWU Spokane is home to many health sciences programs, such as Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Fuller takes over as executive dean for Ron Dalla, who will return to the Cheney campus and continue his long service to EWU as vice provost: graduate education, research and evaluation.

The moves are effective July 1.
