American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life-Kootenai County - This year’s event begins Friday at 5 p.m. with a cancer survivor reception and ceremonial opening lap. Survivors should RSVP for the reception. Various live entertainment and activities are planned. Concludes Saturday at noon at Greyhound Park and Event Center, Post Falls. 455-4351.

Sandpoint Bike Week – Saturday events include Sandpoint Bike Swap, 9 a.m.-noon at the old Co-op Building; 10,000-plus mile ride around America with Mel Dick, 7:30 a.m. at the Bonner County Courthouse; Wednesday, Ride to Work/School Day; Friday, Sandpoint Bicycle Film Festival at the Panida Theater, 300 N.
