Criminal sentence incorrect

Gary L. Payne’s criminal sentencing listed in the May 6 Washington Records was incorrect because of a clerk’s error. Payne was sentenced to $8,900 restitution and 14 months in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of second-degree theft.

Currie won nomination

Kootenai County Commissioner Rick Currie won his party’s nomination in Tuesday’s primary election. Because of an editor’s error, a headline Wednesday incorrectly stated he won re-election.

Athlete’s name omitted

Lewis and Clark High School track athlete Levi Taylor’s name was left out of the caption of the All-GSL track photo in Thursday’s Sports section because of an editing error.
