Fifth Annual Wiener Dog Races - Annual event held at Pet Fest to benefit our wiener dog rescue. Participants need not be club members to participate in any of our dog events. Meet in the third building to the left of the demo ring to pre-register your dogs all day Saturday at our rescue promotions booth. Pet Fest runs Saturday and Sunday with more than 100 pet-related vendors and animal adoptions. These races are for purebreds only. Bird Walk at Turnbull - Join Marian Frobe for a walk around the Pine Lakes to see the ducks in their spring colors and to look and listen for returning songbirds. No experience is necessary in identifying birds, beginners to experts are all welcome. Bring binoculars, camera, water and a lunch, if you want to extend the day on your own. The walk concludes between 11 a.m. and noon, but there is more to explore on your own on the Auto Tour route or other walking trails. Registration requested.
