Cal Ripken gets his Way
In case Baltimore fans get lost, they can follow “Cal Ripken Way” to Camden Yards.
Cal Ripken Jr. has a highway that runs past the stadium. Congressman John Sarbanes said the sign reminds Baltimore visitors not only of a great ballplayer, but also of the “Ripken Way.” The Orioles shortstop, a 19-time All-Star and two-time A.L. MVP, played in 2,632 consecutive games to break Lou Gehrig’s record.
