Colfax stays perfect, clinches 2B title
Joseph Cammack had two touchdown runs and Will Hatley dashed 87 yards with the second-half kickoff, propelling Colfax to a 32-8 Northeast 2B football win over visiting Reardan on Friday.
The victory clinched the Northeast 2B title for the Bulldogs (9-0, 6-0), who will entertain Kittitas or Liberty Bell in the first round of the state playoffs. The Indians (7-2, 5-1), will travel to Asotin next week.
Springdale 20, Davenport 0: Jordan Muhs, Jalen Hegel and Casey Pardun each ran for touchdowns to carry the Chargers (4-6, 2-5) past the visiting Gorillas (2-6, 1-5).
Northeast 1B
Odessa 28, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 14: The visiting Tigers used Ryan King’s four touchdown passes and Aaron Bruya’s nine receptions to pick up a key league victory. Odessa (8-1, 8-1) has a firm hold on second place over the Warriors (7-3, 6-2), who were led by Mike Rehn’s 128 total yards.
Curlew 47, Wellpinit 14: Senior Ethan Mannick went out in style in his last home game, rushing for 425 yards and five touchdowns for the Cougars (2-7, 2-7). The Redskins dropped to 1-9, 1-8.
Columbia 48, Inchelium 14: In Hunters, Marcos Marado passed for 268 yards and five touchdowns, including three scoring connections with Eli Bear, to pace the host Lions (7-3, 7-3), who will face Southeast B No. 1-seed LaCrosse-Washtucna on Friday. The Hornets fell to 6-4, 6-4.
Wilbur-Creston 60, Sprague-Harrington 14: Cody Stephens rushed for 227 yards as the Wildcats (5-5, 4-5) closed the season with an easy home win.
Brian Gunning scored a pair of touchdowns for the Falcons (0-10, 0-10).
Southeast 2B
Pomeroy 28, Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia 0: The visiting Nighthawks (2-6, 2-5) were blanked by the Pirates (4-4, 4-3).
Asotin 49, Garfield-Palouse 6: Creighton Alfrod was 14 of 16 for 284 yards and four touchdowns as the Panthers (9-1, 7-0) handled the visiting Vikings (6-3, 4-3). Cole Caldwell had 123 receiving yards.
DeSales 41, Liberty Christian 28: Bryce Hayunga ran for 166 yards and returned an interception 20 yards for a touchdown, helping the visiting Irish (7-3, 6-1) past the Patriots (1-9, 1-6).
Waitsburg-Prescott 57, Dayton 7: The Cardinals (3-6, 3-4) dominated the visiting Bulldogs (1-8, 1-6).
Southeast 1B
LaCrosse-Washtucna 60, Lyle 34: Garrett Blauert ran for 360 yards and six TDs, three in the first quarter that started the Tigercats (9-0, 5-0) to an easy win. The visiting Cougars slipped to 4-6, 2-2. The Tigercats entertain Columbia Friday in the playoffs.
Tri-Cities Prep 72, Touchet 36: Will Hoppes accounted for 625 yards passing and 117 yards rushing to fuel the visiting Jaguars (8-1, 4-1). The Indians dropped to 7-3. 2-2.

Bridgeport 53, Valley Christian 0: Miguel Bravo ran for 171 yards and Andrews Valdevinos added 114 more as host Bridgeport crushed the Panthers.
Idaho 1A
Kootenai 58, Mullan 2: The third-ranked Warriors (10-0) blew open the first-round playoff game with a 42-point second quarter. Kolton Willms and Ben Shannon each ran for two touchdowns as the game was called at halftime because of the 45-point mercy rule. The Tigers finished the year 3-7.
Non-league
Tonasket 15, Kettle Falls 9: Tyler Laurie’s interception with 40 seconds left preserved the Tigers’ road victory. Trevor Zyskowski’s 8-yard touchdown run pulled the Bulldogs (2-7) within six in the third quarter.
Liberty JV 12, Republic 6: Trevor Anderson ran for one touchdown and passed for another as the Lancers’ junior varsity edged the host Tigers. Scotty Bacon caught a 25-yard scoring pass from Ryan Swank for Republic’s TD.
Cusick 62, St. John-Endicott 12: Dustin Villegas rushed for 250 yards on 10 carries and Donald Driver added 149 yards rushing as the Panthers (10-0) thumped the visiting Eagles (0-10). Cusick, which had 506 rushing yards, entertains Inchelium in the first round of the state playoffs next week.
Newport 47, Lake Roosevelt 0: Josh Frye scored five touchdowns, four rushing, and Devon Willenbrock tossed three TD passes to spark the host Grizzlies (1-7) past the Raiders for their first victory.
