Cougs not on TV enough

The Spokesman-Review

I have never been able to figure out, in the 22 years I have lived here, why some of the WSU Cougars away games are not televised in Eastern Washington. Even in seasons when the Cougs have played well and were competitive, away games were not always televised.

Certainly, WSU has a huge following in much of the state of Washington, so why can’t the athletic department market football to the TV media?

Anyhow, though I am a Penn State alum and follow the “other cougars,” the Nittany Lions (a nittany lion and a cougar are the same animal), I still feel an affinity to our local university. Wake up, WSU … people still love Coug football despite.
