Neighborhood Updates

The Community Assembly Building Stronger Neighborhoods meeting will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Frontier West Restaurant, 2121 N. Division St.

The Logan Neighborhood Council will meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Fourth Memorial Church, 2000 N. Standard St.

The Five Mile Prairie Neighborhood Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Five Mile Grange, 3024 W. Strong Road.

The Balboa/South Indian Trail Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Indian Trail Elementary, 4102 W. Woodside Ave.

The Whitman Neighborhood Council will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook St.

The Bemiss Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook St.

The Hillyard Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Northeast Community Center, 4001 N. Cook St.

The Northwest Neighborhood Association will meet on next Thursday at 7 p.m. at Browne Elementary School, 5102 N. Driscoll Blvd.

The East Central Neighborhood Council is requesting assistance with its six-year sidewalk repair program. The project focuses on the residence and working area between Division Street and Havana Street and Trent Avenue and East 14th Street. The project will focus on sidewalks that pose a safety hazard, especially on streets linking to schools, parks and business districts.
