Post Falls case to be on ‘Most Wanted’

From staff reports

Armed with recently issued arrest warrants, Post Falls police are turning to a new outlet to solve an old case.

Two police officers will appear Saturday on “America’s Most Wanted” to discuss the 1998 slaying of Barbara Loesch.

Warrants were issued last month for Loesch’s daughter and partner, Tina Loesch and Skye Hanson. Their bonds will be $5 million each.

“We’re just using this avenue to try to get them out to the public,” said Lt. Greg McLean. “Hopefully someone will recognize them.”

He and Officer Paul Farina will fly to Washington, D.C., on Friday to staff the tip lines after the show, which will air at 9 p.m. Saturday on Fox.

An inmate confessed in 2004 to killing Loesch, who police first thought died accidentally. Bradley Steckman said Hanson and Tina Loesch offered him $10,000 to kill her, according to previous reports.

Producers traveled to Post Falls about two weeks ago to film interviews after the Police Department called the show, McLean said.
