Service celebrates Celtic Creation
St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall St., will celebrate the Celtic Creation service Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The theme of the service is “Creation Praise and Thanksgiving,” and will include music, movement and meditation. It also will feature traditional Native American readings.
A party will follow the service.

Concert
Convent of the Holy Names, 2911 W. Fort Wright Drive, will present Choreteur, an adult chamber choir Sunday at 3 p.m.
The choir’s concert, “An Amazing Grace,” is a choral prayer service of thanksgiving and will include various American denominations.

Seminar
The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave., will offer “Writing the Sacred: A Psalm-writing, Journaling and Poetry Workshop” Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Author Ray McGinnis will lead the seminar. The cost to attend is $5 for students and $10 for everyone else.

Movie night
Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church, 4449 N. Nevada St., will present the movie “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” Friday at 7 p.m. The evening will include free snacks. For more information, call the church office at 487-9667.
Bazaar
Caritas Outreach Ministries will present a bake sale and bazaar Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Spokane Friends Church, 1612 W. Dalke Ave.
The funds raised at the sale will benefit low-income families within the Caritas service area.
