Center will watch kids as you shop on ’Black Friday’
‘Drop and Shop’
If Black Friday shopping is your thing, but not your family’s, the Northeast Youth Center has a solution.
It is offering a series of “Drop and Shop” Kids Camps through the day Friday, designed to keep young people safe and entertained, while giving parents the opportunity to shop themselves silly, or at least catch their breaths after Thanksgiving.
The center opens at 4:30 a.m. Friday, with the first camp, “Pajama-Rama,” which runs until 10:30 a.m. It’s intended for ages 5-12, and includes sleep mats, holiday movies and crafts, and a latte for a parent. It costs $20.
Other Camps Include
• Elf Camp, from 6:30-10:30 a.m., for ages 5-8, and includes holiday crafts and games, for $12.
• Laser Tag, from 6:30-10:30 a.m, for ages 9-12, and includes Laser Tag and prizes, for $12.
• ‘Drop and Shop’ Kids Camp, for ages 5-12, from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and includes games, activities and a field trip, for $30.
All sessions include breakfast with Santa.
