1947 fire engine has new home
Mike Ferguson, owner of Way Out West, said he has purchased a 1947 fire engine that was being sold by the GreenHouse Community Center in Deer Park to raise money for a new fence.
Ferguson said he moved the fire engine to his business on the West Plains along Interstate 90 where it can be seen from the freeway. Visitors to the business may also see the engine, which is believed to have originally belong to the Reardan Fire Protection District. He said he will probably drive the engine in next summer’s parade in Cheney.
Way Out West is on White Road a short distance south of the Medical Lake interchange (Exit 270) on I-90.
