Ione Train Trip – Saturday. The train ride is from Ione to Metaline Falls and includes the sights of Box Canyon Dam and a “train robbery.” No-host lunch will be at the Inside Passage in Ione. Community Colleges of Spokane Seniors Program – Registration for fall quarter classes has begun. Classes include computers, art, writers’ workshops, history, humanities, foreign language, fitness, and more. Register at least one week before each class begins. Jacks and Jenny’s Dance Club – Meets the third Saturday of each month from August through May at the North Spokane Dance Center, 7424 N. Freya. Pre-round is 7:30-8 p.m., ROM from 8-8:30 and mainstream dance from 8:30-10:30. The cost is a $4 donation. For information, call Jeanette Blood at 487-7446.
