Spaghetti dinner will benefit ALS Service Organization

The “Angels Among Us” Kids Club is having an all you can eat spaghetti feed at Aracelia’s Mexican Restaurant, 7905 E. Trent Ave., on Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.

The feed includes salad, bread, dessert and a raffle and costs $6 per person or $20 per family.

The Kids Club is an ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease Awareness group for kids. Proceeds benefit the ALS Service Organization.

Annual quilt show set for this weekend at fairgrounds

The 30th annual Quilt Show will be Friday through Sunday at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St.

“Winter Harmony” will feature 600 quilts, quilted clothing, and wall hangings, along with hourly free quilting demonstrations and a quilters’ boutique.

Hours for Friday and Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $7 for all three days and will be sold at the door. Children age 11 and under are admitted free.

Fifth district candidate Mays to hold town hall meeting
