Riverfront Park offers spooky Haunted House
Get a Good Scare
From now until the end of the month, getting a good scare is as close as Riverfront Park.
The park, in association with IGNITE! Community Theatre and Radio Spokane, have organized the first-ever Riverfront Fright Haunted House.
The spook house runs until Nov. 1 in the East pavilion building, which was the previous home to the Expo ‘74 Spokane Story, and until 1995, the site of the KZZU/Muscular Dystrophy Haunted House.
Along with the variety of spooky critters and scenes awaiting haunted house visitors, the park staff has enhanced some of their other attractions especially for the season, including the SR-2 Haunted Mine Ride and Ghostly Golf.
Tickets for Riverfront Fright are $8 adults or $6 students. People can also buy a “Haunted Pavilion Package” for $15, which includes the haunted house, Ghostly Golf, SR-2 Mine Ride and one IMAX showing of “Speed.”
This package can also be upgraded for another $5 to include Ice Palace admission and skate rental.
IGNITE! Community Theater is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization. It has organized haunted houses in past years, which have brought more than 1,000 visitors through the Halloween season.
