Backpacks stolen at Whitworth

Two men stole backpacks at Whitworth University on two occasions this month, and detectives are asking for help identifying them.

Video footage from Oct. 16 and Oct. 20 shows the men stealing students’ backpacks from the college’s cafeteria area.

On Oct. 16, one man wore a black leather jacket and the other wore glasses and a gray T-shirt with a horizontal stripe.

On Oct. 20, one man wore a dark hooded sweatshirt with a large red-and-white emblem on the chest and the other wore a dark T-shirt, dark jeans and a light-colored baseball hat.
