Lecture will focus on justice

The Whitworth University Constitution Day Lecture will be held on Wednesday in the Robinson Teaching Theatre in Weyerhaeuser Hall at Whitworth University.

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. and will feature “What Does it Take to Guarantee Access to Justice for All?” by Michele E. Storms, executive director of the William H. Gates Public Service Law Program for the University of Washington Law School.

Storms is a graduate of the Gonzaga University School of Law and was a staff attorney at Evergreen Legal Services, focusing on family law, custody and domestic violence. She founded the Child Advocacy Clinic at the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a faculty member for eight years.

Constitution Day is a federally recognized national celebration of the signing of the United States’ government’s founding document.

The event is free and open to the public.
