Scoop contest winners named
Scoop Reporter was spotted hiding among advertisements in last week’s Voices by the following six winners, who are this week’s Honorary Cub Reporters and are eligible to receive free ice cream.

Sarah McMaster, 11, who is homeschooled in the Chattaroy area and is the daughter of Jenny McMaster, found Scoop on page 13 of Thursday’s North Side Voice.
Nathan Quinn, 10, who is a student at Chester Elementary, spotted Scoop on page 8 of the Valley Voice. He is the son of Jeanne Quinn.
Jake Markham, 8, who is a student at Mullan Road Elementary and the son of Kristin Markham, found Scoop on page 10 of the South Voice.
Natalie Taylor, 4 1/2, who lives in Post Falls but doesn’t attend school yet, spotted Scoop on page 5 of the Prairie Voice. She is the daughter of Lloyd and Abby Taylor.
Kyley Jenkin, 11, who is a student at Evergreen Middle School and the daughter of Stacey Jenkin, found Scoop on page 9 on last Saturday’s Valley Voice.

Public forum
Information on the proposed Kootenai County vehicle registration fee ballot issue will be presented at 6 p.m. Monday at a public forum at Post Falls City Hall by representatives of highway districts and cities in Kootenai County.
Post Falls Highway District Commissioner Lynn Humphreys will present the proposed ballot issue. Panel members include Lakes Highway District Commissioner Marv Lekstrum, East Side Highway District Commissioner Jimmie Dorsey, Worley Highway District Commissioner George Miller, Post Falls Mayor Clay Larkin and Coeur d’Alene City Engineer Gordon Dobler.
City Cable 13 will televise the forum as a public service to inform Kootenai County citizens about issues on the November election ballot. The forum will be televised live and then scheduled for rebroadcast through Nov. 3.
