Be responsible: Pick up after your pets

It has been gratifying, but not surprising to read the many letters identifying the very helpful actions of the people in Spokane who have assisted their neighbors this hard winter and throughout the year (High Five).

With this in mind, I hate to throw out a negative as we do have many fine residents who care. There are some among us who feel the “great out of doors” is a bathroom for their dogs. This is a BIG Problem!

Carrying a plastic bag with you when you walk is a very easy solution – another easy way to enhance our environment and make our neighborhoods more enjoyable. This small effort will be appreciated by all.
