Egg hunt, dance planned next Saturday
Liberty Lake’s annual community Easter egg hunt is set for next Saturday at 11 a.m. in Pavillion Park at County Vista Drive and Molter.
The event is open to toddlers through fourth-graders. Registration will take place at City Hall, 22710 E. Country Vista Drive, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, and 3 to 8 p.m. Monday and Thursday. The cost is $5 per family or six eggs filled with wrapped candy.
Prior to the egg hunt there will be breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Liberty Lake Elementary, 23606 E. Boone Ave. The cost is $5, and tickets will be available at City Hall during the egg hunt registration.
Also next Saturday, students in grades 5 through 10 are invited to an All Fools egg hunt and ’80s dance in Pavillion Park beginning at 7:30 p.m. Bring flashlights for the hunt and then stay for the dance until 10 p.m. Those attending must register in advance at City Hall.
Lady golfers meet at MeadowWood
The Liberty Lake 18 Hole Ladies Golf Club is without a course this year as reconstruction continues, but the group continues regular weekly play Tuesday mornings at neighboring MeadowWood Golf Course.
Interested players are welcome any Tuesday morning. Tee times start at 8:30 a.m. Membership dues are $55, with associate members $30.
