The Spokesman-Review
Sunday’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will close the downtown segments of Spokane Falls Boulevard, Riverside Avenue and Main Street from 8:30 to 11 a.m. The course starts at the corner of Spokane Falls and Bernard Street, heads west to Lincoln Street and then follows Riverside into Browne’s Addition. The Browne’s Addition race area includes parts of Chestnut, Cannon and Elm streets between Riverside and Second. Also closed will be West First from Elm to Cedar, forming the return leg of the race, which concludes near the start point on Bernard. The Washington-Stevens couplet and all north-south traffic on the Monroe Street Bridge will be closed during the race as well. A map can be found at Spokanewomensshow.com.
