New Faces

Northwest MedStar has hired Jodi Dooyema as a registered nurse and Bob Montgomery as a registered respiratory therapist for the company’s flight crew.

Mattias Herzog has been hired as vice president/financial consultant for Charles Schwab & Co.’s Spokane office. He has six years experience working in the financial advisory industry and previously worked for a national brokerage firm in Spokane.

IMRS Faculty Hospitalists at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center has hired Dr. Murali Nair in the practice of internal medicine. He is a graduate of Medical College Trivandrum in India and completed his internship and residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Aaron Edwards has been hired by Windermere North Spokane LLC as a sales associate. He previously worked as pharmaceutical representative for Purdue Pharma in Stamford, Conn.

Magner Sanborn has hired Nate Rogers as art director. He previously worked for Hanna and Associates and holds a degree in graphic design from North Idaho College.

Dr. Kevin Innes and Dr. Justin Racht have joined Spokane Emergency Medicine Associates in the practice of emergency medicine. Dr. Innes is a graduate of the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital and completed his residency at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Racht is a graduate of Creighton University, completed his internship at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and completed his residency at Brown University.

Mike Keenan has passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional exam. He works as senior project manager for Meridian Construction Inc.

Appointed

The following individuals have been appointed as new board officers for the 2009-10 Inland Northwest Community Foundation: chairperson, Sandy Patano, former state director for U.S. Sen. Larry Craig in Coeur d’Alene; vice chairperson, Robert Larson of Merrill Lynch, Spokane; and Gloria Waggoner of the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Coeur d’Alene. New directors include: William Bouten of Bouten Construction, Spokane; Susan Fagan of Susan Fagan LLC, Pullman; Scott Jones of Fidelity Associates Insurance and Financial Services Inc., Spokane; Christie Querna, former president of the Spokane Public Schools Board, Spokane; and William Simer of McDirmid, Mikkelsen and Secrest, P.S., Spokane.

The Health Sciences and Services Authority of Spokane County has appointed Kelsey Gray to its board. Gray works as a managing partner of Spectrum, LLC, an organization development consulting firm.

Marc Racicot has been appointed as a member of Avista Corp.’s board. He previously served as president and CEO of the American Insurance Association.
