Three things we’ll be talking about this week

1Topol has played several roles over the years. But if there’s one role the Israeli actor is famous for, it’s Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof.” After more than 2,500 stage performances, and Tony and Oscar nominations, the actor is taking Tevye on a farewell tour that lands in Spokane’s INB Performing Arts Center for four nights beginning Tuesday.

2Another year, another chance to pig out. Pig Out in the Park, that is. The annual end-of-summer bash at Riverfront Park runs Wednesday through next Monday and will include music from The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill, Cracker and the Austin Lounge Lizards, among many others. Oh, and there will be food and drink, too.

3If it’s Labor Day weekend, it’s time to head to The Gorge Amphitheatre for the annual three-night stand by the Dave Matthews Band. This year, Dave and the boys will be joined by G. Love and Special Sauce and the Yonder Mountain String Band on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for some fun in the Central Washington sun.
