New faces

Ashley Swanstrom and Jeff Eilertsen have been hired by Red and Associates as part of the company’s human resources team. Swanstrom holds degrees in management/human resources and psychology from the University of Idaho and has previous human resources experience while working in the health care, sports and leisure, and manufacturing industries. Eilertsen has previous experience working in consulting and business development for human resource management and development solutions. He holds a master’s degree in human resource management and industrial relations from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in English from Whitman College.

Personnel Source has hired Jim Reed as branch manager for the company’s Spokane Valley location. He has eight years of employment industry experience while working as a recruiter, executive search consultant and branch manager and holds a degree in organizational management from Whitworth University.

Sean Finley has been hired by Magner Sanborn as an animator/designer. Finley previously worked as a freelance designer and as a designer and animator for Digital Itech. In addition, the firm has hired Jesse Scheller as art director. Scheller previously worked for Pierpoint Design and Branding. Both are graduates of Spokane Falls Community College’s graphic design program.

Wolff and Hislop has hired Jennifer Jackson as an associate. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law and previously served as a legal intern for the firm.

Gifts

The Allstate Foundation awarded $20,000 to Junior Achievement of the Inland Northwest to support K-12 economic education programs.

Appointed

Tim Henkel has been appointed to serve as chairman of the United Ways of Washington for a one-year term. He currently serves as president and CEO of the Spokane County United Way.

Elected

The Intertribal Monitoring Association on Indian Trust Funds has elected Michael Finley as chairman of the board. He currently serves as chairman of the Colville Business Council.
