Fog to fade; sun to shine

Patchy freezing fog has been reported throughout the Inland Northwest, but so far it’s not impacting traffic, officials said. Sunny skies are expected later today. The haze will stick around until Thursday morning when freezing fog is again expected. A chance of snow is forecast for Thursday night into Friday morning for Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. The snow will turn to rain by Friday afternoon, according to the weather service. The weekend should be mild with temperatures in the 40s and partly sunny skies, according to the weather service. A slight chance of snow is forecast for Sunday night.
