The Spokesman-Review
A rapist who disguised himself as a woman and waited for his victim in a North Idaho College restroom is being sought by police. The sexual attack reportedly happened last Friday but was just reported to campus security this morning, according to a notice on the Coeur d’Alene college’s Web site. The rape is reported to have occurred in the first floor bathroom of the Meyer Health Science Building at 4 p.m. Jan. 30. The victim told officials that she knows the assailant, but his name hasn’t been released. The reported assailant is described as a white man of 48 years of age, 6 feet tall, 190 to 200 pounds with brown or auburn colored hair. As of Jan. 30, the assailant was clean-shaven. No picture was given of the assailant, who is considered at large. The victim told officials that the assailant dressed as a woman and waited in the bathroom until she arrived, according to the Web site. The alleged assailant is not an NIC student at this time.
