At a glance: Eastern Washington Eagles

RECORD: 11-13 overall, 5-7 Big Sky

COMING UP: Today at Weber State, 6:05 p.m.; Saturday at Idaho State, 3:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: It’s a critical road doubleheader for an Eastern team trying to make the Big Sky tournament for the first time in three seasons. The Eagles ended a six-game losing skid by defeating Sacramento State 67-46 and Northern Arizona 54-50 last week at home, but they hit the road against conference-leading Weber State tonight. The Eagles lost 77-69 at home against Weber State on Jan. 11. Eastern is percentage points ahead of Idaho State for sixth place in the Big Sky standings. The top six teams go to the conference tournament. A win in Pocatello would give the Eagles a tiebreaker advantage over ISU by sweeping the season series.
