OUTLOOK: After a season-defining win at Boise State last week, the Vandals are positioned to make a push for the second or third seed in the WAC tournament. Their last four regular-season games are against the league’s bottom three teams, starting tonight with San Jose State (11-14, 4-8). Idaho defeated the Spartans 74-66 on Feb. 14 but is just 3-10 on the road. Two of those wins have come against BSU and Nevada, a pair of top-tier teams. “We have talked a lot about playing better on the road,” coach Don Verlin said. “Obviously, we have some momentum after the big win at Boise State and hopefully we can take that with us this week.”
