OUTLOOK: The Huskies (9-3) have been on a roll coming into conference play, having won their last seven games, including an 81-67 win over Morgan State on Tuesday night. In that game, freshman guard Isaiah Thomas scored a career-high 27 points. Jon Brockman, the 6-foot-7, 255-pound senior, is still the focus for the Huskies, averaging 16.5 points and 10.2 rebounds. The Cougars have won the last seven games in this series. Of the four losses for the Cougars this season, three have come against ranked teams – Gonzaga and Baylor at home and Pittsburgh in the Legends Classic in New Jersey. The fourth one was on the road against Louisiana State.
