Plows deployed day after snow fell

Tuesday’s editorial about snow removal incorrectly stated that the city of Spokane didn’t deploy privately contracted plows “for days after the onslaught began.” In fact, according to news releases issued by City Hall at the time, private plows were in use Dec. 18, the day after the first major snowfall occurred.
