Fog affecting travel

Freezing fog made for slippery conditions again today. Many side streets, and areas higher than downtown, were described as sheets of ice. Crashes reported this morning have been minor, authorities said. Interstate 90 is clear and dry, but Highway 395 has had at least one slide off and reports of icy conditions, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Mark Baker. At Spokane International Airport, at least two flights have been canceled: a Delta flight to Salt Lake City and a United flight to Seattle. Other flights have been delayed. Officials say of all weather, fog has the worst impact on air travel.
