Vandals targeting vehicles in Spokane

More than 35 vehicles have been vandalized throughout Spokane since Jan. 24. Vandals are shooting out the vehicle windows using a BB gun or a pellet gun, said Spokane police crime analyst Tom Michaud. Areas in south, northwest and northeast Spokane have been targeted. “One area that was hit hard was 34th Avenue,” where at least a dozen vehicles were vandalized, Michaud said. A late ‘70s to early ‘80s black Ford Bronco has been reported as a suspicious vehicle. Anyone with information about the vandalism or who has been victimized is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
