Dr. Kingsley Ugorji has joined CHAS in the practice of family medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and completed his internship and residency at the University of Rochester.

Rockwood Heart Center has hired Dr. Michael Yerkey in the practice of cardiovascular disease. He is a graduate of Yale University, completed his internship and residency at Keesler Medical Center and completed fellowships at William Beaumont Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Paul Ammatelli has joined IMRS Faculty Hospitalists in the practice of internal medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri and completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington.

Physician Anesthesia Group, P.S. has hired Dr. James Madrian in the practice of anesthesiology. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, completed his internship at Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his residency at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Jason Roth has joined Inland Cardiology Associates, P.S. in the practice of cardiology. He is a graduate of New York Medical College, completed his internship and residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and completed a fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center.

Dr. Timothy Powers has joined Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists, P.S. in the practice of orthopedic surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at Grand Rapids Area Medical Education and Research Center and completed a fellowship at Ortho Carolina Spine Center.

Neil has served as an associate broker for Tomlinson Valley for 20 years and Lisa is a licensed real estate agent with more than 18 years of real estate marketing and administration experience.

The journal of the American Hospital Association, “Hospitals and Health Networks,” has named Kootenai Medical Center as one of the country’s “Most Wired” hospitals for the 10th time since 1999. The survey ranks Kootenai among the Top 100 out of 1,300 hospitals surveyed.

The Good Samaritan Society – Moscow Village has received an Excellence in Action award from My InnerView, a research and quality management company, for providing quality care and service to its residents.

The Credit Union Executive Society has recognized Spokane Teachers Credit Union employees Bill Before and Belinda Caillouet as among the “Rising 100” credit union leaders in the nation and are featured in Credit Union Management magazine. Before serves as vice president of finance and has been with STCU for 20 years. Caillouet has been with the credit union for 23 years and serves as vice president of information technology.

Nikki Reed has passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional exam. She works for Design Source Inc.

Champion Home Builders of Weiser, Idaho, has named Mountain Homes of Colville the top Champion retailer in Washington for 2008-09 – the third consecutive year.
