High school reunion organizers looking for alumni

Summer officially begins next June 21, which means Spokane Valley high school reunion organizers will be making their final push to locate classmates.

Alumni of the Valley’s two oldest high schools, Central Valley and West Valley, are planning 50-year reunions.

University High School class of 1969 organizers sent out a press release this week hoping to locate classmates before the reunion July 24-25.

There will be an informal, no-host gathering on Friday night, as well as tours of the new U-High and a golf tournament during the day on Saturday. Events will conclude with a casual buffet dinner on the beach at the Red Lion Templin’s Resort in Post Falls on Saturday. A cost of $50 per person covers Saturday’s dinner, the venue, and committee expenses.
