Dad closes the deal

Ken Bone attended his first Tri-Cities tailgate party as the new men’s basketball coach at Washington State. He revealed that he had just finished the most important recruiting job to date: he took his middle daughter, 14-year-old Jenae, to Pullman recently. “I brought (Jenae) over from Portland and treated it like a recruiting visit,” Bone said. “I took her to dinner. I bought her ice cream. I asked her if she wanted chocolate topping and whipped cream on it. We went bowling. We went putt-putt golfing.” When they got back to Portland, Jenae told her sisters how much fun Pullman is. Good thing, since Dad had just closed on a house in Pullman three hours before the tailgate party.
