More roadwork, delays in northwest Spokane

Street construction in northwest Spokane is getting a little more troublesome for drivers. Westbound lanes of Francis Avenue from Wall Street to Indian Trail Road will have traffic reductions this week while city crews do repair work. Motorists should anticipate delays, city officials said. This comes as the city is having Alberta Street reconstructed. Alberta is closed from Wellesley to Francis avenues, including its intersection with Rowan Avenue. Five Mile Road is also closed in sections for improvements.
