Giving us secrets for criminal success

As I read this morning’s edition of the Valley Voice (March 7), I wondered if the staff writer realizes that the article “Firefighters take a whack at safe-cracking” provides detailed instructions on safe cracking, forcing open doors and puncturing vehicle tires.

The use of the “Halligan bar” by firefighters sounds like a skill better kept to themselves, rather than broadcast in the media. What’s next? How to defeat a security system? Nice going guys!
