Fire District 2 (Fairfield) – Commissioners recently got word the district has been awarded a $43,000 grant from the Department of Homeland Security to replace radios. Some minor repair work on a truck was authorized. (Source: Chief Jason Laulainen)

Fire District 8 – Commissioners heard an update on the construction at Station 82. The project to repair damage caused when the roof collapsed and to do minor renovation to crew quarters is essentially complete. (Source: Deputy Chief Lonnie Rash)
