Coeur d’Alene Marathon/Half/5k – Marathon course opens at 5:30 a.m., finish line closes at 1 p.m. The 26.2-mile out-and-back course begins with a loop through Riverstone and continues through the downtown Coeur d’Alene area to Higgins Point and back. Presented by the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation. Certified USATF Course-Qualifier for the Boston Marathon. 292-1634.
Priest Lake Spring Festival – Concludes today with a pancake feed at 8 a.m., arts and crafts and fun run at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Coolin. 443-2628.
Second Annual Trash Can Derby – Hosted by The Captn’s Table, 1659 Garfield Bay Road in Garfield Bay. It will run three weekends in June and feature an additional “Aggregate Derby” in which anglers participating in the Angler Incentive Program on Lake Pend Oreille can win additional cash prizes. Per week: $20/adults, $10/ages 14-18, free/age 13 and younger. 265-6351.
