School vaccinations postponed

Due to the vaccine shortage, Panhandle Health District has postponed the H1N1 vaccination clinics at Sorensen, Skyway, and Winton elementaries and the Kinder Center until November.

Vaccination clinics scheduled for the middle schools and the high schools have been moved to December.

The Panhandle Health District has a toll-free telephone number to answer concerned parents’ questions about the increasing number of H1N1 influenza cases.

According to information on the Coeur d’Alene School District’s Web site, PHD operators will be available to answer questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at (866) 528-3501.

PHD also updates information regarding H1N1 influenza on their Web site at www.phd1.idaho.gov.
