WSU’s Watson hits head
PULLMAN – Washington State University basketball player James Watson was taken to Pullman Regional Medical Center on Wednesday afternoon in a precautionary measure after hitting his head on the floor during a fall team workout.
Watson, a redshirt freshman, went down hard during a defensive drill and stayed down while being attended to by trainers. The 6-foot-7 Watson complained of head and neck pain.
He underwent a CT scan and an MRI at the hospital, with both tests coming back negative. Watson was held overnight for observation and was to be released today.
